Maternity Services

Maternity Services

Bringing a child into the world is one of the biggest moments in a family’s life, and our maternity unit is built to make it safe and dignified. Our midwives, nurses and obstetricians provide round-the-clock care for normal deliveries, and we are equipped to handle complications, including emergency caesarean sections, when they arise.

We follow Kenya Ministry of Health guidelines on respectful maternity care. Skin-to-skin contact, early breastfeeding and birth companions are encouraged, and every newborn is checked carefully before discharge. Mothers registered with SHA can access maternity benefits at contracted facilities, and our team will help you understand what applies to you.
